2026 PMA Regional Meetings

PMA Regional Meetings are set to take place at the following dates and locations. Click the region to complete registration. Registration for the Central meeting closes this Friday, May 22nd!

CENTRAL: Thursday, May 28th in Gander | Central Regional Meeting Agenda
WESTERN: Tuesday, June 2nd in Deer Lake | Western Regional Meeting Agenda
AVALON: Thursday, June 4th in the Paradise | Avalon Regional Meeting Agenda

PMA’s Regional Meetings are 1-day (9am – 4pm) training sessions taking place in each member region. This year, we did a 2-day joint session with MNL for our Labrador Region.

During each of the upcoming Regional Meetings, guest speakers will lead three training sessions. The topics set to be covered include the Accommodations Tax, Navigating the Municipal Support Information System (MSIS), and a Emergency Planning. We will conclude each day with a Regional Membership Meeting. 

The registration fee is $95+HST ($109.25). The deadline to register, or cancel your registration, is outlined in the form. 

*NOTICE: Public consultations on revisions to the Municipal Elections Act are upcoming. For folks attending a PMA Regional Meeting, we are asking that you begin to think about what kind of changes to the act you would like to see implemented.Discussion on this topic will take place during the membership meeting portion of the event. 

The Eastern Regional Meeting, set to take place on May 26th has been cancelled due to low registration. We encourage folks who were planning on attending to register for the Central or Avalon meeting instead, if possible.
