2025 Fall Forum Training Event

Registration

Join us in Gander, NL on October 23-24 for our annual Fall Training Forum!

As a result of scheduling conflicts amongst our 2025 Fall Forum presenters, we are deciding to push our deadline for Regular Registration until Tuesday, October 14th, at 11:59PM. It is important to us that members have time to review the complete agenda before they commit to attending the event.

The Department of Municipal Affairs and Community Engagement will be awarding the Derrick Bragg Leadership Award on the first day of Fall Forum during lunch.

Registration numbers for this event are high–and we have been informed that the Quality Inn & Suites is fully booked. We ask that if you plan on attending but have not booked a hotel room yet, you reserve a room at one of the neighbouring hotels as soon as possible.

We ask that because of the postal strike, you print cheques for all outstanding invoices, including Fall Forum Registration, and deliver them to a PMA staff member at the Fall Forum.

The deadline to register without additional fees, and to cancel registration is October 14th at 11:59 PM.

Pre-Fall Forum Training Registration

PMA is hosting a 3-hour Pre-Fall Forum Training on Wednesday, October 22nd from 1:30pm – 4:30pm in Gander, NL, at 153 Airport Blvd (Steele Community Centre). The building is located behind the Joseph R. Smallwood Arts & Culture Centre, and the session will take place in the Sports Hall of Fame/Archives (SHOFA).

Facilitated by Kelly Bull and Jennifer Dooley from the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy (ATIPP) Office, the session will use a mock request to demonstrate how to navigate the next steps of receiving an ATIPP request at your Town office.

This session is FREE for PMA members.

Though there is no cost to attend, registration IS required. As well, we ask that you reach out to cancel registration if you cannot attend.
