Long Service Award Nominations: DEADLINE APPROACHING 🚩

March 6 is the Deadline to Submit an LSA Nomination Form 

The Department of Municipal and Community Affairs and Professional Municipal Administrators
(PMA) have partnered to present Long Service Awards at the 2026 PMA Convention taking place
April 14-16, 2026 in Gander at the Quality Inn & Suites.

*Eligible Positions: City/Town Manager, City/Town Clerk, Department Head, and all
administrative positions that align with PMA’s definition of member, as outlined in the
organization’s constitution and bylaws.

Eligible Years of Service: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50.

Note: Years of service are cumulative and do not need to be served consecutively. Time served in positions other than those specified above will not be used to determine eligibility.

The deadline to submit an application is March 6th and applications must be submitted directly to PMA via the email address indicated on the application. The application will be used for both PMA and the Department of Municipal and Provincial Affairs Long Service Awards.

Please ensure prior to submission that you are nominating individuals that fit the criteria and have held positions as listed above.
